Together with Rijkswaterstaat, we are working on a solution for the leaking aqueduct near Akkrum. Four holes in the water-retaining foil of the Leppa aqueduct's trough structure cause approximately 3,300 litres of groundwater to leak daily into the submerged section. Two of these holes are located up to 10 metres below ground level. As this depth is difficult to access, special test setups and targeted injections are being used to investigate how the aqueduct can be made fully watertight and safe again.

The Groninger Museum is renowned for its iconic and distinctive architecture. Since its opening in 1994, designed by Italian architect Alessandro Mendini, the building has become a cultural landmark in the city of Groningen. To preserve this exceptional heritage, regular restoration and maintenance work is carried out. Recently, the museum's roof has been preserved and successfully completed.

At the end of June, it was discovered that groundwater was seeping up through the road surface of the Vlaketunnel (A58). This leakage in the road surface caused puddles to form on the asphalt, resulting in splashing water and creating a hazardous and unsafe situation for traffic. Therefore, a swift and professional solution was necessary.

On Saturday, May 17, 2025, SealteQ's specialists carried out specialized sealing work on the aqueduct in the N302 near Harderwijk, commissioned by Heijmans and the province of Gelderland. During these operations, a water-bearing expansion joint was successfully injected, resolving a leak of approximately 3.6 m³ of water per hour.

Leaks were detected in the expansion joint of the open section of the Boxemtunnel aqueduct on the N331. At low temperatures, freezing caused a risk of slipping for road users, which is why it was important to stop the leaks.

In recent weeks, SealteQ's specialists have been working on the renovation of the 100-year-old IJ viaduct near Amsterdam Central Station, a crucial junction used daily by thousands of travelers. Commissioned by BAM, we have carried out a series of specialized tasks to ensure the sustainability and safety of the viaduct.

The specialists from SealteQ Noord have recently successfully completed a project at Twence in Hengelo. The work took place at three discharge chutes that lead into a large bunker. The project demonstrates SealteQ's expertise and versatility in complex industrial renovations, with an approach that ensures both the safety and sustainability of the installation.

The specialists from SealteQ are currently involved in the renovation of the IJ viaduct at Amsterdam Central Station, a crucial infrastructure hub used daily by thousands of travelers. The IJ viaduct is the old steel structure beneath the tracks and platforms on the IJ side of the station.
