The Position
As a construction painter, you work on protecting and maintaining metal structures at unique locations throughout the Netherlands. You treat the surface and thus protect them against premature degradation or corrosion. Think of bridges, locks, industrial installations, and other large steel structures. No day is the same, and you are indispensable in extending the lifespan of these objects.
What Do You Bring?
You are communicatively strong and flexible. A true specialist who, naturally, works accurately.
Furthermore, we require:

- Proven experience as a construction painter;
- You are independent, but also work well in a team;
- VCA-Basic (or willing to obtain it through us);
- Full-time availability and flexible regarding travel time and accommodation;
- Driver’s license B(E) or C(E) is a plus;
- You speak and understand the Dutch language well.

Personal Story of a Construction Painter at SealteQ
I’ve been working at SealteQ for a year now. I often drive to the work location with a colleague, where we start the day with a cup of coffee. After that, we change into our work clothes and discuss the day’s tasks and planning. Working hours vary by location, usually from 7:30 AM to 3:45 PM, or from 8:00 AM to 4:15 PM.
What I enjoy most is the freedom in my work and the great colleagues. The work is diverse: besides painting, it includes rust removal, blasting, and sometimes excavation work, depending on the location. This means the work is never monotonous. As with any profession, you need to perform the work well and ensure a great end result together. It’s important to carefully check that you haven’t missed any spots. It also helps if you’re not afraid to get dirty and have a willingness to learn.
The work atmosphere is pleasant, and it’s a growing company that has everything well organized. The varying locations mean you get to see a lot of the Netherlands. SealteQ offers real opportunities for advancement, and the team takes the time to properly teach you the trade.
