Asphalt maintenance for every infrastructure challenge

SealteQ West Restores Lifeline of UMC Utrecht in Record Time

Watch video

SealteQ offers asphalt maintenance services to extend the lifespan of asphalt for all infrastructural needs. This is achieved through asphalt repair and/or crack filling. Additionally, our asphalt maintenance services ensure improved waterproofing for asphalt on bridges and viaducts. This is accomplished by applying waterproof membranes and mastic asphalt or flexible edge restraints during major maintenance or new construction. SealteQ can also fill longitudinal joints, between curbstones, and asphalt with rubber bitumen. We also provide the application of wearing courses, flexible gutters, and SAMI layers.

Bituminous Joint Filling

We have a Breining bitumen boiler available for joint fillings. We also provide other solutions, such as dummy joints. For example, a dummy joint can be utilized in situations involving a transition from pavement on an embankment to pavement on a bridge deck, culvert, or tunnel. To prevent uncontrolled cracking in the pavement due to settlements at such transitions, the pavement is often sawn at these locations. The saw cut is then filled with hot, bituminous joint filling.

Ground stabilization through injection techniques for Combination Herepoort

Over the weekend of 24, 25 and 26 February, Combinatie Herepoort carried out maintenance works on the longitudinal joint of a section of the temporary ring road. As part of these works, the underlying foundation and reinforced soil structure were stabilised using injection techniques.

Repair groundwater leakage road surface Vlaketunnel (A58)

At the end of June, it was discovered that groundwater was seeping up through the road surface of the Vlaketunnel (A58). This leakage in the road surface caused puddles to form on the asphalt, resulting in splashing water and creating a hazardous and unsafe situation for traffic. Therefore, a swift and professional solution was necessary.
