The Importance of Grouting for a Solid Construction
When you use powerful machines daily within the energy sector, a huge amount of dynamic energy is released. A good foundation is indispensable. Not only for the reinforcement of large machines, a solid foundation also contributes to the stabilization of steel structures. Our specialists do this by, among other things, grouting the machine foundations and steel structures and completely sealing any openings and cracks.
During grouting – also known as undersealing – we fill the entire surface with concrete mortar or epoxy. If we were to only reinforce the points where the steel structure or the machine foundation is in contact with the ground, the connection would be considerably less strong. By grouting the entire surface, the pressure on the foundation is better distributed and the construction is sturdy and safe.
