SealteQ Heerenveen has recently successfully completed an important renovation project commissioned by the municipality of De Fryske Marren. The project involved the swimming pool at the De Hege Gerzen recreation area in Oudemirdum, where the coating was coming loose in various places and showing signs of wear. The top edge of the pool coping had also largely come loose.
It took some time, but we have now been enjoying summer temperatures for a few weeks. Perfect swimming weather. Thanks to the specialists from SealteQ Heerenveen, Hoogkerk Swimming Pool is open for swimming again this summer.
Spring is approaching, which means it is almost time for outdoor swimming pools to reopen. It is, of course, crucial that the pools are in excellent condition so that visitors can enjoy swimming for another season. This period is therefore frequently utilized for maintenance and renovation activities.
The summer season is an ideal time for maintaining indoor swimming pools. In recent months, our team has been working at the Sloterparkbad in Amsterdam. The Sloterparkbad is one of the largest swimming facilities in the Netherlands.
On April 17, SealteQ successfully delivered another appealing project—the renovation of a toddler pool—to the Municipality of Westerwolde. It was appealing because this assignment was just a little different. In addition to the technical renovation of the toddler pool at the Moekesgat swimming pool, our colleagues at SealteQ Noord also enhanced its appearance. The pool was adorned with various sea creatures. Extra playtime fun is guaranteed for the very youngest.
With summer approaching, SealteQ has several assignments regarding the maintenance of swimming pools. Last month, SealteQ already carried out maintenance at Zwembad De Delte in Gorredijk, and last month SealteQ provided the recreational pool and paddling pool of Zwembad De Leewal with a new coating system. The maintenance work consists of renewing a number of loose parts, cleaning the paddling pool and coating the recreational pool.
Commissioned by Brands Bouw Emmen, SealteQ Noord B.V. performed work on the world's largest indoor water slide complex; the Water World of Hof van Saksen. This water slide complex, circulating a total of 1.54 million liters of water per hour, is now open.
SealteQ was commissioned by the Municipality of Harderwijk to carry out maintenance work in the outdoor pool. The assignment, which initially only consisted of partially replacing the polyurea underlayer and recoating the competition pool, was significantly expanded during the work.
