Concrete leveling

Concrete leveling

In many cases, we can lift sunken concrete floors by injecting them with SLS polymer foam. We lift the floor back to its original height with millimeter precision. For a fraction of the cost and time required to replace a concrete floor, it is possible to lift the existing concrete slab using SLS polymer foam.

What types of floors can be raised?

Our floor raising technology is suitable for various types of concrete floors, from industrial to residential floors. Whether it involves a large factory floor, a commercial space, or even a small kitchen floor, our floor lifting process with SLS polymer foam can be adapted to your specific needs. Our specialists first conduct a thorough inspection to assess the suitability of your floor and then develop a plan specifically tailored to your situation.

Raising Heavily Loaded Floors

Usually, heavy shelving and machinery do not need to be relocated when the floor is injected. In many cases, it is possible to lift these large loads along with the floor. If necessary, floors can also be lifted in sections. This makes it possible to continue working partially on floor sections that are not yet being treated.

How does the floor lifting process with SLS polymer foam work exactly?

Our process includes thorough inspection, site preparation, injection of the polymer foam, and precise monitoring of the floor height.

We begin with a thorough inspection of the floor to determine the extent of the subsidence and identify any structural problems. Next, we prepare the site by removing all obstacles. The polymer foam is injected directly under the floor, gradually lifting it to its original height. If necessary, it is possible to inject the subsoil from a certain depth, which also provides deep stabilization. Finally, we precisely check the floor height and inject additional material where needed to ensure it is level and uniform.

If the concrete floor is damaged, we also perform concrete repair for you. Structural concrete injection is the technique we use for this purpose. Cracks, leaks, or other damage in concrete are repaired by injecting special low-viscosity two-component epoxy resins. These materials are injected into the cracks to fill them and strengthen the structure of the concrete construction.

How long does it take before the floor can be fully loaded again after lifting?

After lifting the floor with SLS polymer foam, the floor can be 90% loadable after just 15 minutes. This means you can quickly get back to work and experience minimal downtime. This rapid curing process makes it possible to resume your business activities as quickly as possible, saving you time and money.

What are the costs of concrete leveling compared to replacing a concrete floor?

The costs of concrete leveling are significantly lower than replacing a concrete floor. The floor lifting process is much less labor-intensive and requires no demolition or removal of the existing floor. This saves you money not only on labor costs but also on materials and time.

What are the environmental impacts of using SLS polymer foam for concrete leveling?

SLS polymer foam is environmentally friendly and contains no harmful PFAS compounds. It is approved for contact with drinking water and minimizes environmental disruption. Due to its low weight and insulating properties, it contributes to a sustainable solution. Moreover, the process of floor lifting with SLS polymer foam is much less invasive than replacing a concrete floor, resulting in less waste and a lower ecological footprint.

Sustainable and insulating

SLS polymer foam has insulating properties and is environmentally friendly. The specific weight is 52 kg/m³. The cured product is 30 times lighter than sand (dry sand has a specific weight of 1,500 kg/m³). When hollow spaces are injected with SLS polymer foam, this has a low relieving effect on the subsoil because it is so light. This reduces the chance of new settlements in the future.

Prevent safety risks

Sunken concrete floors pose a serious safety risk in industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and residential properties. Uneven surfaces and trip hazards can lead to accidents and injuries among employees, customers, or residents.
