Fire resistant coating
In the event of a fire, it is crucial that a building remains standing for as long as possible. Applying fire-retardant coating to main load-bearing structures helps with this. The special coating ensures a longer load-bearing capacity. Fire-resistant coating causes the coating (foam layer) to swell at high temperatures. The insulating effect of the foam protects the structure for a number of minutes (30, 60 or 90 minutes) against critical temperatures.
Prefab and On-Site
Applying fire-resistant paint to steel is specialized work. This is carried out under strict control to meet the requirements of the statutory Building Decree (2012). We can apply fire-resistant coating in the factory (prefab), as well as after assembly on the construction site.
Fire-resistant Penetrations
You can also rely on us for fire-retardant sealing of cable and pipe penetrations. We have the right expertise and certification to handle both the design and implementation. SealteQ employees are aware that they bear a great responsibility for the final product. Cable and/or pipe penetrations are often difficult to access. In addition to fire-resistant penetrations, we also offer solutions for gas-impeding and/or waterproof treatment of cable and/or pipe penetrations.
