On Thursday, March 30, the Concrete Maintenance Platform (BOP) is hosting the Southern Concrete Repair Afternoon at the LocHal in Tilburg. The purpose of this afternoon is to show how sound examination, maintenance, repair and strengthening of concrete structures contributes to the circular economy towards which we are heading.
This afternoon, Chris Uittenbogaard (Director SealteQ West) together with Eric Parel (Property Manager Hof Wonen) will tell more about a challenging project in the Industriewijk in Delft. The 328 balconies of a total of 13 residential blocks in this district were in poor condition. Hof Wonen asked SealteQ to help think of a sustainable solution to preserve this complex for years to come. Based on our expertise and experience in the life span provision of concrete structures, SealteQ drew up a feasible repair plan. Chris and Eric would like to take you through the process and tell you how they brought this project to a successful conclusion.
