Over the past few months, SealteQ West has undertaken the renovation of the parking garage on Trompstraat in The Hague. Commissioned by Haagwonen VvE Beheer, our specialists have played a crucial role in the repair and reinforcement of the concrete structure.
Trompstraat parking garage in The Hague successfully repaired
The parking garage is located in the vibrant city center of The Hague. Its renovation was therefore of great importance. It not only ensures safety and functionality for users but also contributes to improving the urban infrastructure. Despite the many complexities within the project, we were able to address each aspect of the renovation with great care.
In the initial phase of the project, we conducted a thorough inspection of the structure, identifying concrete damage to the columns, walls, and ceilings. Subsequently, our specialists removed loose concrete parts and repaired the damaged reinforcement steel. Using high-quality repair mortar and shotcrete, the strength of the concrete structure was restored.
After successfully repairing the concrete damage, our experts applied an elastic coating. This not only provides long-lasting protection against corrosion and wear but also ensures an attractive finish. To improve the functionality of the garage, an expansion joint profile was installed at the entrance, enhancing stability and preventing future damage. Additionally, slope corrections were carried out and the floor was repaired, improving the safety and usability of the entrance. All of this contributes to a renewed and safer parking experience for all users of the parking garage.
