PU cast floor for Waternet Amsterdam filter plant

PU cast floor for Waternet Amsterdam filter plant

Waternet is constructing a new filter plant on the site of an existing hall. This plant will test an environmentally friendly method for purifying drinking water. SealteQ supplied the complete flooring solution for this demanding environment.

The existing tile floor was sanded with low-dust diamond abrasives and repaired in places. A bonding bridge was then applied as a substrate for the finish. A levelling layer of epoxy filled the joints and created a flat, closed substrate.

Raised edges have been created around all recesses. This prevents process water from flowing into the basement through openings. Finally, a PU cast floor with a matt anti-slip finish has been installed.

The result

A hygienic, easy-to-clean floor. Functional and durable, exactly what you would expect in a space where the quality of our drinking water is being worked on.

Repair work on the Haarlemmerstraat car park in Leiden

On behalf of Leiden City Council, SealteQ has been carrying out repair work on the Haarlemmerstraat car park on Middelstegracht since February. The reason for this is that, during maintenance work in mid-2025, the SealteQ team discovered structural defects. The municipality decided to close the car park immediately. Since then, SealteQ has been working closely with the municipality and its consultants to find a structural and sustainable solution.
