Our branches SealteQ West and SealteQ MCB have joined forces in executing a major project in Rotterdam. Together they are working on the maintenance of the P+R Kralingse Zoom parking garage. This is a large parking garage with 1,700 parking spaces, distributed across 6 floors.
Maintenance of parking garage P + R Kralingse Zoom
This parking garage has rust on the sprinkler pipes. Our task is to remove rust from those 8,700 meters of sprinkler piping and then apply coating. Additionally, 2,675 sprinkler heads will be replaced (executed by SPIE Nederland). We perform the rust removal and coating in multiple phases so that the parking garage can continue to be used during the work. We systematically take sections of the sprinkler system out of service and ensure that traffic is properly redirected.
Part of the parking garage essentially floats above the Kralingse Zoom metro station. We are completely replacing the sprinkler system in that section with a new one. This requires considerable preparation (permit applications, creating specific work plans and Task Risk Analyses) and extra attention to safety because we are working above the railway tracks.

New opplus floors in Hoogvliet
SealteQ has started a fine and challenging project for Woonbron in Hoogvliet. In the coming period, we will install new overlay floors on the galleries of the high-rise complex on Cloese. An overlay floor is essentially a raised floor. Thanks to such an overlay, the gallery floor is brought to the same level as the entrance to the apartments, allowing residents to easily access their homes.
