Subsequently, we carried out various concrete repairs in the garages themselves, including at the junction of the wall and floor. We also provided this junction with a 2-layer bitumen seal with reinforcing fleece as extra protection to prevent future leaks. We sealed the leaking penetrations in the concrete walls by applying StopaQ around the pipes and finishing with mortar. There was also cracking in the basement floor. This was injected under low pressure using our special 2-component injection technique. As a result, the basement is waterproof again, and the reinforcement can no longer be affected by moisture ingress.
Ramps
Finally, we addressed the ramps. To minimize inconvenience for the parking garage users, we provided them with a quick-drying anti-slip poured flooring system. After pre-treating the substrate, a poured layer was applied. This was sprinkled with basalt chippings and then transparently sealed. The edge details were also included in the waterproof system. After painting the concrete retaining walls of the ramps, a beautiful whole has been created, and the concrete structures are once again sustainably protected.
