SealteQ Ivacon has commenced various works on an apartment complex in Amstelveen. The project includes concrete repairs on 170 elements, including ceilings, consoles, upstands, and edge thicknesses.
Our specialists have begun a thorough inspection of the concrete to identify cracks and loose parts resulting from reinforcement corrosion. Damaged areas are carefully remediated and repaired with specific repair mortars and epoxy mortars, depending on the extent of the damage.
Furthermore, joint sealing will be applied to expansion joints of balconies and roof edges, and the drains will be sealed. To ensure water tightness, our specialists will replace the PVC pipes.
The floors will be treated with an adhesive primer and epoxy trowel floors to achieve sufficient slope. A cast floor system will also be installed in the elevator hall, where cracks will be sealed and a matte seal layer will be applied for anti-slip purposes. It will be applied in various locations, such as balconies, emergency stair landings, stairwell floors, and roof perimeter edges. The floors will be cleaned and prepared, followed by the application of primer and anti-slip coating.
Our efforts are focused on creating a future-proof living environment for the residents of the apartment complex in Amstelveen, aiming to carry out high-quality work that not only improves quality and safety but also contributes to increased long-term sustainability.
