Foundation repair canal Almelo de Haandrik
SealteQ SLS has been applying injection techniques for 5 years to stabilize foundations and repair them where necessary. Earlier this year, we entered into a partnership with Van Dijk Maasland (VDM). They specialize in foundation repair using the table method. Thanks to this partnership, we as the SealteQ SLS/VDM combination are able to offer the complete range of foundation repair techniques.
Two weeks ago, we started the preparatory work for foundation repair of a house on Kanaal Almelo De Haandrik. Here we are applying the table method. This house is the first of the houses along the canal that requires foundation repair. We are working on this house in collaboration with a local contractor, Bouwbedrijf Maneschijn from Vroomshoop.
As can be seen in the photos below, we started with covering. For example, the stairway was boarded up so that the upper floor remains as dust-free as possible. We then proceeded to remove the kitchen, bathroom, toilet, all doors and floors. The concrete floors are also being removed. The foundation is then prepared for new steel foundation piles to be installed, and for safety we have placed vibration meters. After these preparatory works, we can actually get started from next week. We will keep you informed about this project in follow-up reports to give you an idea of what is involved in foundation repair.

Update December 23, 2022
Two weeks ago we posted a message about the preparatory work we carried out for foundation repair at a house on Kanaal Almelo-De Haandrik. We are now working on the actual foundation repair itself. The steel foundation piles have been placed and brought to depth (approximately 6 – 7 meters). The steel tubes have also been filled and we will pour the working floor before the end of this year. Early next year we will continue with making recesses and prepare for the reinforced concrete floor.
Update January 26, 2023
In recent weeks we have taken several steps regarding the foundation repair of a house on Kanaal Almelo de Haandrik. At the end of December we filled the installed foundation piles. The recesses have now also been made. These are openings in the walls through which, in this case, the floor reinforcement passes. Lugs have also been placed to fill the cavities immediately. The first reinforcement is currently being woven so that we can then pour the floor.
Update March 2, 2023
After all repair work, it is time to rebuild at Kanaal Almelo de Haandrik. Time to make the house habitable again. In recent times, the structural floor has been poured and has now cured. The necessary insulation has also been installed and the cement screed floor has cured. Now it is the turn of the specialists who will make the house a real home again.
