SealteQ Noord is renovating the Irenegarage in Enschede. This is the fourth parking garage we have worked on for the municipality of Enschede. We previously renovated the H.J. van Heek, Stationsplein, and Brouwerij garages for this client. The parking garage is being upgraded. We are using our experience, resources, and proven techniques for this. In the garage, we are renovating the concrete and applying new markings.

Irenegarage works: parking deck and ramps
The Irenegarage has 525 parking spaces and 3 parking levels. We are renovating the floor on the first floor. We are also installing expansion joint profiles. An expansion joint profile is made of steel and rubber. We use these profiles to absorb movement in the floor. This prevents cracking.
The ramps between the different floors will receive new sealant joints. The floor of the Irenegarage is first blasted. Where necessary, we repair the damage to the concrete.
For safety, we are applying a coating system in which anti-slip granules are incorporated. This prevents the floor from becoming slippery in damp conditions. We then provide the coating system with new parking spaces and markings.
