Last June, SealteQ received the first Best Practice Award for the most innovative safety-enhancing idea in the Health & Safety Excellence cluster. We received this award from the NPAL: Northern Productivity Alliance for our submission, All in the game. The goal of All in the game is to make the process of onboarding and learning at SealteQ more attractive to young people. We did this in a contemporary way by adding an additional module to our existing staff app. In this module we use, among other things, gamification elements that introduce employees to our organization in an innovative way while also stimulating learning. Moreover, this way we can quickly see who has the right potential.
The judges labeled our entry as enviable. An application like this every company would like to have was their verdict. After the award ceremony, we received many responses from other NPAL participants who were eager to learn more about our best practice.
This best practice was created because we at SealteQ love innovation. But of course we are open to sharing our knowledge and experiences with others. Therefore, we invited all interested parties to a knowledge session. This took place this afternoon at our headquarters in Stadskanaal. A total of 23 guests were present. Martin van der Leest (CEO SealteQ Group) told more about SealteQ itself and the projects we are working on. Gerthé Klaassens (director of operations) then took the attendees through the background and the development process after which Melanie Hofmeijer (HR coordinator) told more about the operation in everyday practice.
