”Hard work, a friendly team and a beautiful end result,” observed our new colleague Damian (18). When our colleagues from SealteQ Ivacon were working in his parental home, he became enthusiastic. He is now working at our branch in Amsterdam.
Damian applies for a job at SealteQ
”I liked it so much how those guys went about their work. And also impressive how much work they did in a short time,” Damian says. With the two colleagues who were working in his parental home, he asked if SealteQ was still looking for colleagues. ”To one I said: I would like to work for you. From the other I then got the contact details of Ivacon director Simon Klein.”
No sooner said than done. Damian called and sent in his resume on Friday. On Monday he was in a job interview. Two days later he was already spending a day on the shop floor. A week later he signed his one-year contract with SealteQ Ivacon. That’s how fast things can go!
And it probably won’t stay with Damian. By now he is aware of our Bring a Friend action (you can read about it here more). Colleagues who bring in a new colleague receive a net bonus of 300 euros if that person continues to work for SealteQ for at least four weeks. A further 300 euros net bonus is added if the newly recruited colleague remains employed for 26 weeks. ”I already have a few friends who also seem to enjoy working at SealteQ.”

Advancement at SealteQ
A few weeks later, Damian is still enthusiastic about his work at SealteQ, he says. ,,The atmosphere is very pleasant. And you get to places you really don’t normally get to.”
Damian started out as a construction assistant, supporting our concrete repairers with a variety of tasks. His ambition? ,,Advancing is my ambition. Next year I would like to continue as an apprentice. At SealteQ I can then do my training. I want to get MBO level 2 and 3 in the company.”
