SealteQ SLS specifically offers solutions for improving the load-bearing functions of foundations. This applies to foundations of buildings as well as foundations of infrastructural works. What we do is ensure soil improvement by applying injection techniques. We do this in an innovative and environmentally conscious way. We inject the soil layers with SLS polymer foam. In July 2020, SealteQ Group established the company Waterproofing SLS B.V. (hereinafter SealteQ SLS). SLS stands for Slab Lifting and Stabilization. SealteQ SLS’s service portfolio comprises four specialties: floor lifting, void filling, soil stabilization, and foundation repair.

SealteQ has been operating for 50 years. We have 40 years of experience with injection techniques for waterproofing, soil stabilization, and structural bonding. Since 2019, we have also added expansive resins for lifting to our portfolio. We acquired our formulation in the United States and have it manufactured in Belgium exclusively for SealteQ.

What is SealteQ SLS?

SLS stands for Slab Lifting and Soil Stabilization. We specialize in lifting structures, as well as in stabilizing soil layers beneath foundations, buildings, and infrastructure works. We do this using a broad range of injection materials, from highly stable non-expanding resins to strongly expansive resins with high compressive strength.

Recognized KCAF Foundation Repair Contractor

Since 2021, we have been recognized as a KCAF foundation repair contractor. SealteQ Group has been active since 2012 in strengthening and improving homes in earthquake-prone areas. We use innovative products (e.g., QuakeShield) and repair methods developed in collaboration with our partners.

Our Mission

Our higher purpose is to preserve and strengthen existing buildings and civil engineering structures. By increasing the load-bearing capacity of foundations and floors, we ensure that the asset retains its value—or even increases in value. Our services can be deployed both preventively and curatively to prevent damage to buildings and foundations and to avoid major repairs and associated costs.

Our Long-Term Projects

Project KADH

Since 2021, SealteQ SLS has been working with partners Van Dijk Maasland and construction company Maneschijn Vroomshoop on the restoration of foundations along the Almelo-De Haandrik canal, commissioned by the Province of Overijssel. The independent knowledge institute KCAF serves as an advisor.

Project Sustainable Restoration

This project by the Institute for Mining Damage Groningen (IMG) focuses on the sustainable restoration of homes in the earthquake zone, with the aim of significantly reducing the likelihood of future damage requiring repair. This often goes hand in hand with restoring partially affected foundations, in collaboration with Van Wijnen, Bouwzorg Fryslân bv, and W2N Engineers.

Preventive Applications

For provincial and national roads, SealteQ SLS offers preventive and curative injections for minor settlements and washouts. This helps avoid extensive and time-consuming asphalt repairs, resulting in lower social costs and reduced congestion.

On Thursday, April 17 and Tuesday, April 22, 2025, the completion of two fully restored houses at Brugstraat 15 and 15A took place in Daarlerveen. Both houses had sustained significant damage due to subsidence caused by uneven settlement in the foundation. A technically challenging project, where SealteQ SLS specialists once again demonstrated our strengths.

On Thursday, March 20, the foundation repair of a residence on Hoofdstraat in Vroomshoop was successfully completed. A remarkable project in which the experts from SealteQ SLS played a crucial role. The foundation of this residence was severely affected by uneven settlements and subsidence, leading to significant damage to the building. The challenge? Restoring the foundation without damaging the existing basement. Thanks to a well-considered approach, craftsmanship, and attention to detail, this was achieved.

In a recent project in Daalerveen, SealteQ SLS specialists played a crucial role in the foundation repair of a building that had suffered extensive damage due to uneven settlement and a partially collapsed foundation. The issue with the home's foundation required a well-thought-out approach to prevent further damage while minimizing disruption to the residents during the foundation repair operation.

A wonderful workplace for the specialists of SealteQ SLS this week. They were working on the sea dike in Farmsum in recent days.

Over the weekend of 24, 25 and 26 February, Combinatie Herepoort carried out maintenance works on the longitudinal joint of a section of the temporary ring road. As part of these works, the underlying foundation and reinforced soil structure were stabilised using injection techniques.

Our Waterproofing SLS service stabilizes the subsoil of various structures along the A12 motorway, near Bunnik. We are commissioned by BAM to do this. We inject the subsoil near the Kromme Rijn, the Ecotunnel, and various viaducts with SLS polymer foam. This stabilizes, fills, and compacts the subsoil.

An increasing number of houses in the Netherlands are experiencing foundation damage. The causes vary, but the problem is significant and continues to grow.
