The Position

In the role of Blaster at SealteQ, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and restoring various surfaces, such as metal and concrete, using specialized blasting agents. This involves working intensively with blasting equipment to remove old paint, rust, dirt, and other contaminants, preparing the substrate for further processing, such as coating or painting. You play a crucial role in preparing materials for further treatment, which is essential for extending the lifespan of structures and materials. Safety is paramount; you will work according to strict safety regulations and ensure a clean and safe workplace.

What Do You Bring?

• • Minimum MBO level 1 in blasting and/or metal and concrete processing;
  • Knowledge of pre-treatment methods and relevant environmental and safety legislation and regulations;
  • Valid VCA basic safety certificate (or willingness to obtain it at our expense);
  • Demonstrable work experience in a similar position;
  • Driving license B(E) and/or C(E).

Furthermore, you possess strong communication skills and can interact with clients professionally. You also have basic knowledge of computer systems, primarily for logging hours and maintaining your work administration.
