Protecting and preserving civil structures is an area of expertise for us where many specialisms are applicable. In addition to the often necessary concrete repair and the implementation of reinforcement measures (such as carbon fiber reinforcement and strengthening with reinforced shotcrete), the application of wearing courses and protective coatings is also a daily practice for both concrete and steel. Furthermore, ‘kb’ is increasingly applied to guarantee a sustainable extension of the lifespan of these structures.
