Repair groundwater leakage road surface Vlaketunnel (A58)

At the end of June, it was discovered that groundwater was seeping up through the road surface of the Vlaketunnel (A58). This leakage in the road surface caused puddles to form on the asphalt, resulting in splashing water and creating a hazardous and unsafe situation for traffic. Therefore, a swift and professional solution was necessary.

SealteQ was called in to address the problem at the Vlaketunnel. On the night of July 8, our specialists carefully injected and sealed the affected areas in the road surface to prevent further water ingress. As the work was carried out at night, there was no disruption to traffic during the day.

Thanks to this targeted approach using specially developed polymer resins, further damage was prevented without the need for extensive civil engineering measures. This project emphasizes the importance and effectiveness of specialized injection techniques in solving complex infrastructural leakages.
