In Breukelen, two identical VvE complexes are being addressed by SealteQ to make the balconies future-proof. Through a combination of repair, insulation, and high-quality finishing techniques, not only is the quality of the structures improved, but also the comfort and safety for the residents are enhanced.
Major Maintenance on Balconies in Breukelen
At Wiardi Beckmanstraat and J. Poststraat, the ‘sister flats’ are undergoing major maintenance, which includes:
- Concrete repairs and conservation of ceilings and thickness edges, to ensure the structural integrity of the balconies and prevent future damage.
- Post-insulation of masonry, to increase energy efficiency and improve living comfort for the residents.
- Sealing work, for a water- and airtight finish.
- Balcony finishes with a reinforced PMMA system, a durable and low-maintenance coating that provides long-term protection against weather influences and wear.
For the complex at J. Poststraat, an additional follow-up order has already been received to address the gallery side of the flats in 2026, after the completion of a sustainability project.
