Market Segment:
Monument, restoration
Applied Techniques:

- Casting
- Sprayed concrete repair
- Plastic wear layers
Specifics:
Although a bridge to the mainland has been constructed, SealteQ was unable to use it during the execution. The bridge provides access to a protected bird area and is very narrow. The supply and removal of personnel, materials and equipment therefore had to take place over water from Durgerdam and Schellingwoude, through all kinds of weather, which was quite a challenge. However, the work offered a fantastic experience due to the beautiful surroundings, changing weather conditions and execution of various specialist techniques.
CSR Sustainability:
Consolidating cultural heritage to achieve exploitation for the preservation of the barracks building and ammunition bunkers on
Vuurtoreneiland
(Lighthouse Island).
