SealteQ Group protects, strengthens, and maintains concrete and steel structures. The company, with 250 employees and a turnover of forty million euros, has grown considerably in recent years. Now that the investment company Quadrum Capital from Almelo has joined, SealteQ, according to director Martin van der Leest, can continue that growth strategy.
Working at SealteQ means encountering new challenges every day. Every employee is also given the opportunity to develop themselves. One of the teams that is on the road daily in a SealteQ company car consists of master craftsman and experienced concrete repairer Wilfred Woortman and assistant concrete repairer Mark Kanninga.

SealteQ in Stadskanaal celebrates its 50th anniversary, reason enough for a party. The company is the market leader in our country in protecting and repairing steel and concrete structures. And growth is still ongoing. “We don’t need to call, they call us.”
A career usually begins in the classroom. With textbooks, tests, and then (hopefully) a diploma with which you can get started. At SealteQ in Stadskanaal, it is different. Employees learn the trade from a master craftsman from day one, as in a guild. Now digital tools are being added. How does that work?
SealteQ, founded in June 1973 as a sole proprietorship by former Philips employee Frans Nooren, started as a jobbing company, mainly in the control of pests such as woodworm and woodworm and the caulking and sealing of facades. The red and blue trucks of Frans Nooren, on their way to an impregnation job, were a familiar sight in Groningen. From 2010, SealteQ’s vans have been coloring the streets.
