Together with partners van Wijnen, W2N Groningen, and Bouwzorg Fryslan bv, SealteQ is also going to contribute to the Sustainable Recovery pilot of the Institute for Mining Damage Groningen (IMG).<\/p>\n

Groningers with repaired mining damage who also have non-mining related structural problems, such as faulty foundations, are more likely to suffer new damage after a new quake. For those people, repairing mining damage without repairing these structural problems will not help, because the damage will come back again and again. Because structural damage is usually not caused by earthquakes, the IMG was not authorized to repair it until now. <\/p>\n

The Sustainable Repair pilot now makes it possible for 300 homes in the core of the earthquake area in Groningen to have structural problems solved, so that the chance of repeat damage in the event of a new quake is reduced. You can think of structural measures to the foundation or a roof structure. <\/p>\n
