Following our recently relocated Ivacon branch in Amsterdam, SealteQ West is also getting bigger. The branch is moving from Pijnacker to Waddinxveen<\/a>. A crown on the branch’s tenth anniversary, says director Chris Uittenbogaard. ”We are really taking a nice leap now and are ready for the future.” SealteQ West will move to the new location on September 24. <\/p> \n \n

SealteQ West moves to ‘the ideal location’<\/h2> \n \n

The new accommodation is in Waddinxveen at a “wonderful location,” said Uittenbogaard. We wanted to remain in the middle of our working area. After all, that regional connection is an important point for many of our clients.” <\/p> \n \n

The new location is right in the middle of the important triangle for SealteQ West: twenty minutes from Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht. ,,Well as practical for our fast switching and our fast service.” <\/p> \n \n

The search for a new location was not without controversy, says Uittenbogaard. It had to meet three requirements: spacious office facilities, sufficient storage space and an outside area for parking cars and equipment such as containers and work buses. ,,We have been looking for three and a half years. The combination of our needs was terribly difficult to find, especially in our region.” SealteQ West is moving to a property that meets all our needs: a former garden center.<\/p> \n \n

A major renovation before SealteQ West moves in<\/h2> \n \n

Before SealteQ West could move to the new location, major renovations had to be done in Waddinxveen. ”We started back in March 2021, so it was quite a project. Actually, the whole building was transformed.” All areas – the office layout, storage halls and workshops – were completely rearranged and completely renewed. <\/p> \n \n

A small portion was done by the team at SealteQ West itself. Not surprisingly, our subject matter experts laid some plastic flooring. ”But not too many. If we do more ourselves, of course I miss our guys in production,” says Uittenbogaard, laughing. <\/p> \n \n
